It's NATIONAL PUFFIN SHARE-A-STORY DAY on 8 May and we want you to let your imagination run wild and celebrate all things Puffin in your school or library.

A year of screenings of famous film adaptations of Puffin titles from classics such as The Railway Children through to The Secrect Garden and Percy Jackson and the Lightening Thief, culminating in a special Fun Day of activities. The first BFI family fun day is on Sunday 9th May - a spectacular screening of Roald Dahl's The Witches.

In 2010 we launched the
Puffin Design Award, where young designers, including degree and HND students, were invited to submit striking cover designs for a classic Puffin title that will appeal to a new generation of readers.

FIRST PRIZE WILL BE £1,000, plus a 4-week work placement in the Puffin design studio. The competition will be judged by Jan Pienkowski, Charlie Higson and Joe Berger - come back
